Entertainment, Inc! Website Goes Live

Entertainment, Inc! has a new home besides the Old Armory Theatre; the world-wide web!  The organization has at last taken its first momentous step into the "communication age" with the launch of its exciting new website www.entertainmentinc.org.  They feel that a presence on the web will be an important element of their success in the future.  The website will feature information on current and past seasons, season and production ticket prices, current news and events, and an informational section which will feature information about Inc! and about how one can become involved.

Past attempts had been made toward making a successful website but with very little success.  One of the most critical elements of Entertainment, Inc!’s overall success has been volunteerism.  However, they have found it often becomes difficult to find people willing or capable of donating the time and energy needed for certain tasks like that of web development and maintenance.  Updates are crucial in keeping the public informed about the organization’s activities yet the site would often be neglected and would fail to accurately reflect the organization.  After recognizing this and after seeing the value of a quality web site, the board of directors finally approved contracting a professional web developer.

After receiving proposals from other web developers, the Entertainment, Inc! Marketing Committee made the decision to recommend Dawa Development of Williston as its website developer.  The basis for this decision was the developer’s enthusiasm, positive references, strong portfolio, cost efficiency, and overall professionalism.  As a result of their recommendation and the information provided to the board of directors, the motion to hire Dawa Development received an overwhelming majority vote and contracting began immediately.  After meeting with Dawa’s president, Jeff Zarling, and his team, creative direction was established and development began.  The result of this project is an eye-catching website which contains all the key elements Entertainment, Inc! needs to successfully move forward into their exciting future.
