Lend Me a Tenor is a hilarious farse by Ken Ludwig. The play takes place in 1934 Cleveland, Ohio. The Cleveland Grand Opera Company is bustling with the anticipated arrival of the world famous Tito Morelli, "II Stupendo", the greatest tenor of his generation. Through a series of mishaps, Tito is given tranquilizers and believed to be dead. Not wanting to cancel the show, the employees devise a plan to impersonate the famous tenor so that the show may go on! With a host of outrageous characters, this play is one of the greats and should not be missed.
