A wild farce about two out of work men sharing an apartment. To save money they have been filing tax returns listing themselves as married. The day of reckoning comes when the Internal Revenue Service informs the "couple" they're going to be investigated. The arrival of a nosy landlord, a concerned mother, a confused girlfriend, and deceitful fiancé complicates life further for the pair. A hilarious evening of lies, near misses, and mistaken identities ensues.
