The ageless freshness of Rodgers, one of the supreme artists of our musical theatre.

Hearken back to a millenium gone by.  Set in San Francisco at the turn of the last century, this Richard Rodgers musical brings to life the struggles of a Norwegian family as they adapt to the New World.  Katrin, the eldest daughter reminisces about the hardships and triumphs her family that her family endured.  As she remembers these events, she realizes that through it all, Mama guided the family with discipline and love.
